Kepware to Exhibit at HANNOVER MESSE 2016

In collaboration with Dell, Kepware will showcase solutions leveraging Industrie 4.0 for predictive maintenance

Kepware Technologies, a software development company recently acquired by PTC (Nasdaq: PTC), will exhibit at HANNOVER MESSE today, April 25, through Friday, April 29, to share the company’s industrial connectivity solutions that are capable of providing real-time machine data for Industrie 4.0 deployments. Kepware will provide live product demonstrations in the OPC Foundation booth (Hall 9, Stand A11) alongside German Preferred Distributor inray Industriesoftware GmbH. Dell will also showcase Kepware’s IoT Gateway for KEPServerEX at the Intel booth (Hall 8, Booth F09).

Collaboration with Dell- One of the founding members of the recently announced Dell IoT Solutions Partner Program, Kepware will contribute to demonstrations featuring predictive maintenance models that address the industry’s biggest operational challenges, such as unplanned downtime, overall equipment effectiveness, maintenance cost, and return on assets. Now part of Dell’s ecosystem of partners working to help customers navigate the fragmented IoT landscape and identify the right technologies to develop their IoT solutions, Kepware has tested and verified that the Dell Edge Gateway 5000 Series is Kepware Certified for IoT, validating interoperability between KEPServerEX and the Edge Gateway hardware.

Additionally, Kepware’s Ole Borgbjerg, Managing Director, Europe, will join the Dell Think Tank conversation titled “IT/OT Convergence – Industry 4.0: Bridging the Gaps” on April 26 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Moderated by Founder/CEO of The Manufacturing Connection Gary Mintchell, the Think Tank roundtable discussion will explore the meaning of Industry 4.0 for individual businesses and job functions, opportunities and challenges presented by the convergence of Information Technology (IT) and Operations Technology (OT), and visions of the future of IoT on the factory floor.

“Forward thinking businesses are increasingly utilizing IoT and Big Data to address their top operational challenges,” said Erik Dellinger, Product Manager, IoT and Big Data Solutions at Kepware. “We’re excited to join Dell at HANNOVER MESSE this year to show attendees how industrial companies can maximize efficiencies and bridge the IT/OT gap—bringing shop floor data to boardroom decision-making.”
